    Hi,
I can't seem to get the battery cover off of my Envy for the life of me.

I can push the latch halfway through and one side of the cover comes off easily but the other side will not budge.

I have tried (what seems like) everything... from using a bare finger.. to one wrapped with a cloth... to a screwdriver wrapped in a cloth.

Has anyone else suffered from this problem? If so, how did you work around it? I am looking to upgrade my HDD to an SSD and this battery cover is really bugging me.

    Thanks in advance!

Just force it open the first time. You wont damage it. There is just something that's blocking the panel...
