Hello! I want to put an 120gb or 250gb mSATA in my laptop Envy 15 J-001eo. But i have read that many people have problems with this, pc not starting from the ssd. i have found new bios on hp website and would newest fix that problem? HP Notebook System BIOS Update (Intel Processors) - HP ENVY 15t-j100 Select Edition CTO Notebook PC | HP® Support it say it fixes something with mSata!
I also have an recovery partition on the 1tb 5400rpm hd, if i burn recovery w8 dvd, and get msata to work, is it safe to delete and format the 1tb disk, or will i loose my windows? Have this pc sertificate key in bios? can i install w8 downloaded from internet and it will it work? or must i have to use hp recovery? I dont want to start pc and get the information it is not real windows instaled!

I have one older gaming laptop with ssd and it isfaster than this one! realy want to get ssd inside!

about windows, use a software to see the key and backup to somewere. when you reinstall the w8, use that key.
or
some SSD come with clone software to do the job.
