Don't think so in BIOS. You can in Windows though. I think... It's been over a month since I personally worked on an Envy 15.

I don't need the specifications, I know them already because I have owned an Envy 15 for a year until I sold it a month ago. The only thing is that I don't recall seeing a WoL option in the BIOS. However, I know there is a Windows option implementation for it, but I don't know if it works the way you intend to.

Basically I want to wake on lan in order to remotely connect to my computer without always having to have it on.

    Thanks for your guy's replies.

Hi. To sort out your wake on lan settings - Network & Sharing Centre, Change Adapter Settings is the starting point. Take a look at the following link if you get lost or stuck :)

Power Management for Network Devices in Windows 7

Regarding the email issue - check your subscription settings for the thread in the User CP, down the bottom of the page is a box next to "Selected Threads". You can set the frequency of notifications from there.

    Hope this helps.

However if the laptop is turned off, the LAN is also turned off. I think he meant he wants the thing to be one regardless it is powered on or off. That is often a feature that is installed in BIOS's of Corporate PC's. The Wake on feature it is only helpful if you have your computer on Standby or Hibernate. That was the method I was going to suggest him anyways, but I figured he wanted it permanently without any regard to the computer's state.
