Hi all, well just recently bought this machine with i7 720QM and 4830 1GB on board... problem is, i am really not satisfied with picture quality and resolution of this laptop. Just wondering, if i buy compatible LED 1080p screen and fit in to my laptop everything should be ok? no brightness problem?
thank you all for all the answers.

yep, UK.. well it was a bargain price, so that's why i bought it... i mean, the screen is easy to swap, just wondering about the " side issues " ... as far i know, if you swap on dell glossy screen to matte, the brightness stop working..

I, too, am interested in swapping my Envy15's glossy screen for a matte one. But I am not certain on how to open the screen up. Any advise would be appreciated.
