    so now that 14 is out with backlit keyboard, is it possible to replace my 15 keyboard with backlit keyboard from the 14??
    has this done before? or is it possible?

    Yes. It does not have the extra row (perhaps it would be a column) of keys on the far left. Look at these... the Envy15 vs. Envy 14
