    Hi guys,

I am considering HP Envy 15 - 32xx as possibility for my next laptop.

May I know the build quality of HP Envy 15 in general compared to Toshiba Portege, Samsung series 5 and 7 and Fujitsu made-in-Japan model? I will be travelling with the laptop quite often so I hope to have a durable one.

May I know the average lifespan of HP Envy as well? I am hoping to get at least 3 years.

I am sorry I am not aware that there is separate sub forum for this kind of questions. I will be posting the question there. Please close this thread.

I would wager it's pretty good... if you're one of the lucky ones and get a reasonably well assembled unit on your first try, which seems highly improbable to me after reading the envy 15 dedicated thread for a while. The quality seems very inconsistent and it just looks like so many people had to ask for a replacement (often more than once) before getting a good unit.

I wouldn't buy one unless I'm not in a hurry and I'm able to get it replaced for free as many times as I need to. Since I'm not living in the US, game over on that.
