    Hi
I have just bought a new HP Envy 17 3002ea (UK) with Win 7 HP. I have to say apart from having the HDD status LED on the side where you can't readily see it, the laptop is an anamazing piece of engineering.
I want to upgrade to Win 7 Ultimate as a clean install. What I would like to know is where can I find the following.

    1. Driver for the Backlit keyboard
    2. Driver for the proximity sensor (there is an unofficial one on this forum)
    3. Beats Audio Driver
    4. How to customise the laptop like HP have done for fast startup/closedown
    5. How to set up the dual grapics switching as the laptop currently has.
    6. Where to find the HP Coolsense Driver/Program

The HP drivers for this laptop on there website seem to not have these drivers/programs

I have a copy of my SWsetup folder but not too sure what all the foldersare for as their contents are not always obvious from the folder name.
    Thanks

I'm pretty sure all of the above are in the SWSetup folder. You can also download for HP's Driver/Software page for your laptop.

first install the newest bios version for your model.

1., probably 2. & 6. - hp support assistant & hp software framework (not sure what the newest versions are, as different versions are posted on different notebook models support pages - just get the most recent one, probably 6.1.12.1). hp support assistant may get all the necessary softpaqs for you, if theyre already updated on hp's servers for your notebook model
    3. ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp55501-56000/sp55660.exe
    5. install hp's driver ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp54501-55000/sp54917.exe
if you want the newest official amd driver for best gaming performance, install it over the hp driver in order to keep the dual gpu functionality
you can search for the softpaqs on any hp website by typing "SP#####" and it will give you a link to the corresp. download page where youll find all necessary information on that SP.

also make sure that youve installed the intel chipset driver first right after the OS installation, then intel rapid storage technology (if not already needed before the OS installation - then use the F6 installation method), then the rest.
