Hey guys i am getting the new Envy 17 3000 and i am just curious if my 9 cell battery from the 1st gen will work with the new one? I really like how it raises up the laptop most of all and the extra battery is nice too...

    anyone have any idea?

    thanks!

No, it will not. HP says there will be a new 9-cell upgrade, however.

I have no idea. I just read it in the official specs. Hopefully, it will be soon. I hope they figure out a way to keep the base even this time given the way it's made. I just can't imagine anything uneven on the bottom of this one.
