    Hi guys,
i'm about to push the order button on this but i'd like to know if anybody has used the e17 with the i5-580m processor. How is it in real world performance in terms of speed, heat and battery? Is it really worth saving the $150 for getting an i740qm? I'll be using this laptop for most web/graphic design, enthusiast gaming and movies. I just need to know if the i740 is worth getting when compared to the i5 given my usage.
    Cheers

if you will be using the thing away from home on battery much then go for the 580, else get the 740. all computers will be moving to quadcore by next year with sandybridge, dualcore is old news.
