I can't find anywhere that says the new Envy will support bit-locker, it doesn't look like it has TPM built into the bios. Has anyone heard anything about this?

    Thanks

Usually, only HP's business line has TPM built in.

Check the service manual for the Envy17 on HP's website under the support section. You'll likely find what you're looking. If it is conspicuously missing from the service manual, then it means it doesn't have it.
