Hey there, I've owned this HP Envy for around 3 years now and I haven't changed anything significant for this problem to happen (No switched outlets, no new parts except for a new SSD a few months back) but this just started to happen recently - the laptop runs only for a few minutes when unplugged and then will shut off. I've checked everything in the power options and I've been using the same one as I have been so that doesn't seem to be the problem. I also tried turning it on without the supply and it turned on for a second before shutting itself off again. This is all with the battery fully charged by the way. And it runs totally fine while plugged in. Maybe there's a way to check the state of my battery or adapter? Don't know how to tackle this
