    Hi all,
just got new laptop, its an Envy 15t-1100.

I put a SSD in it, so had to do a fresh install of Windows. I installed Windows 7 x64, manually (no recovery disks) because i didnt want all the extra bloat the hp recovery disks give you. Plus i didnt get any with the computer!

Ive gotten every driver to work thanks to the driver guide thread on this website accept USB 3.

I install the driver, and it all finishes and says its installed successfully. However when i click the NEC configuration utility, it says "No USB host controller found". It also appears that the ports arent working.

I know that the ports worked previously because i used them when i had the old hard drive in with the fresh factory install. So im pretty sure its just a driver issue. But buggered if i know what! In device manager there are no leftover "unknown devices".

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

The specs of the laptop are:
    i7 Q720
    6gb ddr3
    ATI 5830
    Supertalent 256gb SSD

Also on a side note, does anyone know if this laptop has bluetooth? I cant find references to it, but i remember seeing that on the fresh install the wireless assistant had the option to turn bluetooth on and off...

    Thanks in advance!
    Chris

    oh man thats annoying...
    it works now!!

i originally installed driver from hp site. which didnt work, then updated with the one this forum suggested and it still didnt work.

so i uninstalled all and redid just from the forums driver. which at first didnt appear to work. however the installer doesnt say to restart computer, so i didnt. however when i did, it started working.

    thanks,
sorry to waste anyones time :)
