    hi,

I am running Windows 8 PRO x64 on my HP Envy 17-1188el notebook. all is quite good when AC powered, however as soon as I toggle out the power adapter and it started running with battery, performances go down to almost an unusable environment.

is there any specific setting or driver that could help me?

    thank you,

    Francesco
