*HP Envy upgrading to SDD thread*

This thread is for discussions specifically about upgrading the hard drive to SSD.
It seems there are so many discussion just about upgrading to SSD I thought perhaps it'd be more organized if there's a thread just for it?


What drives are you guys looking at for Envy 15? Also what do you guys plan on doing? SSD + HDD? just SSD?

I see this which seems superb but a little on expensive side:
240GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive

I'm kinda a noob myself when but plan on switching to SSD when I get my hands on the ivy Envy 15 I just ordered, anyone willing to do a full guide with pictures would be great!, I've search around this forum and have yet to seen one.

 

I just bought the new envy 17. I stayed with the hybrid drive but was planning on installing Newegg.com - Corsair Force Series GT CSSD-F120GBGT-BK 2.5" 120GB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) into the 2nd bay.
Since Microsoft released the windows 8 preview you can download, would I be able to install that onto the SSD and still have access to everything on the hybrid, music, files etc.?
