i have the same problem, i believe its due to lighting. theres a built in "night vision". try moving it to a location where its well lit.

The best is to either tweak it yourself or stay in a well-light room.. Everyone has this issue

ok, then i think I need to stay in a very bright room. I tried using it in the morning and open up all my window. The color went well but far from good because it look gray and green :(

It has to do with the auto white balance. If you used a digital camera (dSLR), you will know that white balance is a pain in the $$. But yes, as they stated, if you sit near a window or partial lit room, it has issue balancing that. Might or could be fix with software I suppose. I just disable the auto white balance and set mine manually to 6500

Uninstall all the drivers and use a software like Skype that lets you change those settings. Do it manually and you can get better colors.

The problem is the light sensor, and the low-light mode. If you disable the compensation, and mod the colors yourself, you can get slightly warmer colors and more accurate, but it is a pain to do so, and you lose all your "fun" stuff on the webcam such as portraits, different colors schemes, etc.
