Can anyone provide a download link for this bios? Every site I have visited linked to HP's download site, which then opens up an empty ftp page. A mirror would be appreciated. The file's name is supposed to be "sp34782.exe".

That's really old. The most stable version supposedly is the F.16 (released 2007). The latest Bios released by HP is F.39.

Does that Bios work for all HP laptops? I have an HDX 18t and the support site has v f.12 listed... should I go with that or a newer one?

As I said, I already checked and it looked like HP took it offline since it's an empty FTP page. The rare chances that I'm allowed to download the file, the downloaded file would have 0kb as its size. I'm looking for a third party mirror to the F.16 bios.

I tried opening the page in IE, Firefox, Chrome and Opera. Is the file a bit over 3mb? If so, then can you please upload it on drop.io, rapidshare or any other third party file hosting site? I'll PM you if you can't upload it.

Is this for the dv5t? Or something else?

I've got the F.11 which is listed as the latest for the DV5T on HPs website
