I'm interested in an HP laptop I saw at Walmart. It's the Folio model and for my needs, it would fit the bill. I was talking with a friend and he mentioned he thought (he wasn't sure) that the drawbacks to some HP laptops is that the video card is/was integrated/soldered to the motherboard. The drawback he said was if the video card ever goes bad it cannot replaced, or not easily anyways. He wasn't sure if this was an old practice that's been phased out, or only certain models did this or what. I may want to upgrade memory or video card etc in the future.

So, I'm just checking to see if anyone here knows. I tried calling HP but got nowhere due to the language barrier.

Thank you for any help you are able to provide.
