The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.
I called upgrade redemption center (if that's what it's called) to check if my order went through for HP, #800-817-5602 the rep told me that HP will start shipping out the free upgrades to vista the end of this month, first come first served. And probably expect to receive it the end of march. At least 4 weeks from shipping date. That's all i know.
Also make sure to either fax or e-mail your proof of purchase or packing slip WITH order number that you got when you filled out the first part, where you put the COA and S/N ect. The rep told me to just write the number on the proof of purchase. The e-mail that she gave me is
[email protected] . After i sent the e-mail i received a comfirmation reply. If you done all this then disregard. Hope the first part helped.
