For about 600 CAD. Also the 17 inch version is 750 CAD.

What do you guys think? For purposes of getting work done, music, typical use. I would like gaming but I want a system that is either VERY good at gaming or doesn't game at all (like this one).... no in betweens.

For me its between 1 of these and a 1600 dollar Asus that games very well. Keep in mind also I have to put on 14% tax on the the HP's so it will come to about 750 and 900 respectively while the gaming system is 1650 including everything.

Also what kind of warranty are on these? Thanks!

    Why not consider this Acer?
I think its a solid machine, with up to par CPU and MUCH better graphics.
Yeah, you get 1 GB less of RAM, but its also 100$ cheaper, and if you do decide to go ahead for the 4 gbs, and do the upgrade, ram will cost you not more than $25.

They come with a standard 1 year manufacturer's warranty. (Sadly, unlike ASUS, no 2 year + 1 Accidental :( )

However, if you do decide to go for the G60-530CA , go to Staples, and Pricematch it there with The Source. You will also save 10% of the difference in price, which will be like $5-6 ? Free Happy-Meal! LOL.

But on a serious note, Staples has a better warranty service out of the 3 retailers BB/FS/Source, in that they offer to replace the battery if it doesnt hold its charge during the whole term of the plan.
