I have the above laptop and was thinking of updating the chip
    from the t 6400 to a t 8100. I did this on an Acer that had a
single core to a T 8100 and it really helped wake that old LT
up. Well that and a WD Black 250 hard drive.

Can this laptop be upgraded to a t 8100 without heat issues ?

    Thanks for any info.
