Bear with me here please, I'm a technical novice.

My HP G7000 laptop was fine when connecting wirelessly to my BT home hub. Now I can't connect either wirelessly nor with an ethernet cable. Spoke with BT and no issues with my broadband.

So I saw a forum where it suggested letting the battery run down and power up through the mains, then replace the battery - it didn't work. I also saw a post saying press F10 during start up and fiddle in the BIOS - it didn't work.

My wireless button remains glowing ORANGE for off and no matter how many times I press it, it doesn't go to BLUE for on. Can anyone help me please?
