    HP G71 343 US owners,

Have you ever connected your laptop to an external monitor via its VGA output? If so, have you experienced seeing some flickerings on that monitor's screen, some very fine noisy lines comming and going or something similar.

I have that problem and the technician guys in HP haven't been able to solve the problem so far. They say that it's refresh rate of the monitor and therefore it's normal and should be there. However, I've seen other laptop's external screen and it was perfectly solid, no flickerings.

    What do you think?
