    Hey, does anyone know how the new G71 is? It replaces the G70, and that's what I was going to get for Christmas. I'm going to get the G71, but does anyone have any experience with it?

    I think it's too new. I doubt many people will have one yet if at all. The review sites probably are your best bet.

    just a refresh of the G70. One thing you should note though, look at the size of the vent on the side of it, compared to the G50/60/70 series where the vent was about half the size and on the back. Myself I have seen a few overheating G50s and G60s, so I think this is a welcome change. We would have to wait for people to actually test them to see how much cooler they really are.

    Ahh, thanks so much, but it is a Christmas present, and I will be customizing the parts, so the Staples deal doesn't help me. And the vent change sounds awesome, and I can hardly wait!
