Ok, just this morning my HP HDX 16 laptop display stopped working, or so I thought. It turns out it is still dimly visible. I realized that I needed to replace the inverter or the backlight on the laptop.

I did some searching and found tutorials on removing the display panel for several laptops. However, I can't find one for the HDX 16.

I do not see any screw covers or any way of taking apart the laptop display. Can anyone please point me in the right direction? Thank you! :D

Maybe you can find a manual on HP website. They usually have them for their notebooks.

If I'm correctly thinking, the screws that hold the display down are under the speaker bar, next to the hinge. You're halfway to dismantling the notebook though, and you still need to get inside the display itself.
