    Hi,

I recently bought a HP HDX 16 laptop, and today I've created my recovery disks. I also have a recovery partition.
My question is: If I remove that recovery partition, and go back to the factory installation using my recovery disks, will my recovery partition be back?

I've read that those recovery disks bring your notebook back to the state as it came from the factory, so that would include the recovery partition, right?

    Thanks !

No it will not. I doubt it.

You know, I actually think it does put that partition back onto the drive if you format it. I used them once but I don't remember if it did or not; but I'm thinking it did.

No problem mate, thanks for trying anyway ;)

Doesn't really matter if it does put the recovery partition back or not, since you only need that partition to get your notebook back to factory defaults. And since those recovery discs already do that ... :)

    I was just curious ;)

The recovery partition will be restored if removed and do a system recovery with discs you made. Confirmed on my HDX16-1050 model :)
