    HP HDX 18 downgrading ??? to celeron?

    YES, my question could appear completely crazy for some of you... :D

    BUT, my laptop doesn't boot at all now.
    And I would certify if either my CPU or my motherboard is dead...
    There is actually a quad core Q9000 inside and the chipset seems to be a PM45 (if I remember well, and it was mounted with a P8700 when I bought it)

    I still have a Celeron M 520 that I would like to try on my HP.
    If I refer to the commander Wolf cpu listing, the celeron M520 and the Q9000 are both socket P (pin compatibility ok), and the PM45 chipset seems to be able to handle 533Mhz FSB cpu like the M520 (frequency compatibility ok, but so slow... :( )

    Is someone who knows if there is no risk about voltage issue???
    And what about the Bios? Could it support a celeron M520?
