    HP HDX16 ESATA and S-Video cables

    Are these ESATA & S-Video cables the right ones for connecting the HDX16 to an external ESATA hard drive and to an Analog TV.

    Yes. But the HDX16 doesn't have a S-Video output. Its older technology.

    Yes, you are right. The HDX16 does not have a S-Video output. But the cable I mentioned is the HDMI to S-Video converter cable, which I am not sure though.

    Me neither. Sorry I just got mine and I have yet to connect it to a TV. Hopefully someone here knows.

    There is no HDMI to S-Video converter cable... HDMI is digital, S-Video is analog... the HDMI connector doesn't have any analog pinouts for such conversions...
