    Dear forumfellows,

Since a few months I' modeling a 3D vehiclemodification for GTA SA.
Its a car wich has never ever been available for that game.
So it comes near its end.
So sometimes I'd like to take a short break and wanna enjoy GTA SA.
But it keeps crashing and crashing.
Finally after 6th crash, it starts up and loaded a savegame.
    Just to test the car.
But it keeps crashing all the time.
It is no fun anymore, there is nothing to do.
Not even the adminsettings or the compatiblety.
    Nothing.
So I was surfing the whole internet how to downgrade to XP.
After 3 days of searching I finally find sites wich help good.
I even found the needed ICH9M/EM SATA drivers.
I drobbed these files onto my floppydrive of USB stick.
Then reboot this laptop, loaded the XP disc.
After pressing F6, I'v gotten a choice wich driver I need to choose.
I choose the right SATA driver.
Then its installing XP on a partition wich I had shrinked from C: disk.
So I got to partition, the 3rd is for System Recovery.
So after its finished installing, it needs a reboot.
    And then........the laptop have died.
It gives the Black Doomed Screen.
My laptop is Dutch, so I try the correct translation:
    "Error when loading Operating System"

I reboot again, again that error, no matter what I do.
So putting the disk out, again that error.
And then, I press Esc for Startup menu.
I choose for F11, System Recovery.
    Now Im really [.....] up.
    It gives the same error!

Is there any way to fix this?
Im vert affraid I'll loose this laptop.

HP site do not have the software for HDX16 1060ED model.

Im glad you can play on Windows7.

But this is a real problem for now as I dont have Windows7
Most of the programs I use does only work on XP.

I dont get it why I get this error.
I thought it can be Dualbooted.

Oh sorry I guessed when you said you want to downgrade to XP I assumed you are running vista or 7. So the problem now is your XP OS not starting up at all?

None of them is starting at all.
My notebook is Vista x64 pre-installed.
After installing the XP it gives me the error.

Now I ended up with a nonfunctional notebook.

Hope when you get the recovery discs you'll be able to do a full system restore.

Today I finally succeeded to install XP.

But when I press Esc for Startup Menu when reboot, pre F11
    for System Recovery.
It doesn't load the System Recovery, it just load XP.

I realised the System Recovery disk has been named as C:
    and the XP D:.

Is there anyway to be able to use the darkkdisk recovery?

I figured out why the System Recovery can't load.
The stupid XP installation has modified the boot file from the
    partition RECOVERY.

So I did a research to that partition but it shows nothing
while the partition has 9.x GB stored information.
So I know its still present but getting into the RECOVERY seems to be impossible.
Then I did a hard research into the registry and editted 2 values in the registry and reboot.
Now I can see all the hidden contents in that partition.
I see there is a boot.ini, opened and then I founded why
    the F11 didnt work.
That boot.ini boots the Windows XP.
So that file has been changed by XP installation.
I tried to modify the boot and changed it back to
    Vista Home Premium.
I reboot and it turned out into a bricked notebook.
I cant be butted to do a reinstall.
So I ordered HP Recovery Kit.
I guess when using the recovery discs, I can press F11 again
    to start the System Recovery.
