    I was wondering if it was possible to use my HDX Notebook as a screen for playstation-3. Has anyone tried this before, it does have an hdmi.

    well i tried it, but when i turned on the ps3 nothing happened. but when i shutdown the computer it shows all the power lights still on, so maybe it is just a reset of the tv-resolution settings.

    No, guys. It won't work! The HDMI-OUT is the OUT only on your HDX18 as so on the other laptops. Sorry to disappoint you with this.

    makes sense.....would be a different way to game though.

    That's a shame, what a waste of an HDMI port.

    Yes notebooks only have an HDMI-out to output video not In

    You will need a very good tv tuner if you wanna use your PS3
