    Enjoy playing with it.

    CNET thought is was the, "bomb," as the new generation would say.

    I think we have almost reached the point where you can get;

    1) A good, do it all machine that actually works.
    2) Video at 20.1" in 1920x1200 is next at least for me to buy.
    3) Price point. If they can keep it near the Acer 9820 instead in the stratisphere, then HP will acquire a big chuck of market share from Dell and Sony.

    Chief concerns for me are the price, video card performance and waiting for the better screen. The rest of the stuff appears to be close enough to the top to be good.

    I believe the base price will be $2995.00 and the video card will the the ATI 2600. Not a terrible price for such a machine but I am disappointed by the video card. Seems they should have put a 2900 in it but oh well that's HP for you.

    Apparently the video card can share up to 2MB of ram (quite a bit) and has DX10 (which will be good into the future). Keep in mind my experience is limited with the lastest and greatest video card performance and exspecially for Vista. New Vista drivers are supposedly are to be here soon. Tests will be interesting. I only want to do this once for the next three years. 1920X1200 will be real bear on a video card.

    It looks like 667 mhz ram, instead of 800 or 1,000 mhz ram on the motherboard. It would be nice if someone actually matched chip front side bus performance. There's a thought...

    I'll have to wait till september until I found out what model will be on sale. I strictly requires nVIDIA 8800 or 8700, and Blu-ray drive.
    1920 x 1200 is said to be available for an upgrade ($150??)? Is that correct?
