    Hi Crimsonman,

This thread is basically for HP customers residing in India and not for experience of those living outside with HP India call center representatives and phone customer care.

    Regards.

It is a recent purchase. Just about three weeks old from Saudi Arabia. I am living in NOIDA and hope that I do not need to go to HP support. Have heard that it isn't the best in the world. Where do you live in India?

Didn't have the option. Apparently everything else seemed to be going up as I moved along the models, but the Graphics Card just seemed to stay put at the 8400 GS. The one that I bought is probably the most powerful HP notebook available in the Gulf!

One thing I've noticed is that even HP India takes a long time to update it's models .
Actually much better Pavilion notebook models can be seen on HP Australia website but not on HP India. :(

They might have more choice but they even shell out a lot more for the same.

My observations have been that HP notebooks are cheapest either in US or the gulf. The reason for US is obvious but as far as Gulf countries go the reason is no tax. Got a pretty good deal on mine!
