That will work just fine, I got the same one for my L2000 from New Egg. Just got my L2000 this afternoon, got it with a single 512 dimm, added this one, nice 1.5 gigs :)

I ordered the exact same part (but from newegg) and the L2000 runs very comfortable with it installed for the past 5 days.

The memory that shipped installed on the HP were marked Infineon, the Kingston (1gb) stick I received was also marked Infineon, but at a fraction of the price with the Kingston guarantee.

Rally is right it is 2, the great part both memory slots are very easy to access as both are located at the back of the notebook behind 2 screws. It took two minutes to open the notebook install the ram and close it.
