This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Hi,

    how is the software that comes shipped with HP professional/workstation notebooks?

    I'm asking because i just returned a brandnew dell m4400 not-only but also because the dell notebook tools were like a bunch of loose tools, one didn't know the option the other just set, features (wlan!) were not supported. to me the software seemed un-business-like.
    So i'm waiting to get a 8530w, but of course there are no reviews for that so i'll rely on your opinion on the previous models and hope that HP didn't worsen their software when stepping to the 8530w.

    Long text, short question: What do you think of the HP Tools?
