I see the zv5000z now has more hard drives(80gb 5400RPM) and brightscreen you can now have for $50. This is a good sign!!!!

Maybe in a short time they will get rid of the the 4 440 Go and put in a card that is only one year old or newer.

    About frickin' time!

They also dropped the 802.11b-only options, which makes picking a wireless option much less confusing.

Now, let's see some new thin-and-light Athlon 64's with a decent video chip. And a 17" widescreen desktop replacement model. They have to be taking delivery of the new 90nm A64's (35W max), surely they'll do something new with them... but I've heard nothing substantive. C'mon HP, I want a new toy [ :D].

I noticed today that the zt3000 now can come with a WXGA BriteView screen for $50 more too. I hope to get over to Best Buy this weekend to see if they have one yet. I want to compare it to mine. I was not impressed with Toshiba's truebrite. I guess I just want to see what all the hype is about.

Hard drive news is good. HP, get in gear and get us at least the nVidia 5200, for God's sake! The 5700 or MR 9700 would be nice as well.

By the way, why is Dell the only one-still-with the MR 9800?
