    First of all, this is an amazing forum which i found the two answers to somw very annoying things.

    Second:I have a hp pavillion dv6560ee and i think the microphone (integrated) has a problem since even when i shout it still is very low at playback,even though i set the volume to max

    Try what v3loc1ty2.0 said... turn the microphone input volume way up... also try a different recording software...

    If it still doesn't work... why bother... Everyone owns a HP dv series laptop knows that the integrated microphone sucks... you can get way better result from a cheap $1 microphone from dollar store...

    microphone volume is at max and tried different software

    i just wanted to confirm if all the hp microphones suck or if it was only mine,thanx anyway

    yeah the integrated mics are not meant for any type of recording (just for chatting)

    Yeah, the built-ins are pretty poor but from what I have noticed with my system is that drivers make some difference. Try a couple of different audio drivers(if you havent already tried) and choose the best of those. You are still going to pick up background noise but it should atleast be usable for VOIP.
