I am trying to format my daughters HP Mini 110-1037NR and erase everything to sell it. She got a new laptop for Chritmas and does not need it.

This HP Mini came with no restore disk and I do not know how to get it back to factory settings, and getting all her information off of it. I did the Roxio thing and it did nothing.

    Has anyone done this before?

I did this with a my Advent laptop, it only erases the personal information and keeps the os.

Try here; Restore my HP [Solved]

    In Brief

Press F11 on boot (If it doesn't work there is an alternative on the website above)

Bring you to the restore manger (installed on all HP's)

Select the option described on the website.

    * Remember to back up all personal data*

    Hope this helps

NOTE: This also works on other branded laptops/net/notebooks.
