    Hi,

My friend own the model in the thread topic and would like to remove the stickers "you know windows this, intel that".

I am assuming this does not void warranty of course but can't see how it would.

What is the best way to get them off? I have heard of using a blow dryer on low to heat it enough to melt the glue so you can easily peel it off. Any other non chemical solutions or is that the best one?

    Thnx,
    Adam

I don't believe it voids the warranty.

I just peeled mine off and then rubbed off the excess glue with a lot of rubbing and some warm water. I really wish they didn't put them on in the first place!

    It won't void warranty, it's just a sticker :p

The blow dryer is a good option, another is to use a solvent or a lubricant to slow dissolve the glue. WD40 works, but it may get smelly/messy.

I just slowly pull them off...I'm talking about taking 5 minutes per sticker to remove it. Left nothing behind on my machine...

get a cutter blade... slowly lift one corner then EVENLY pull the thing ... i managed to take all of them off without damage ... and stick them on the lid... i have a collection :D

the windows one was the stickyest... i wonder why :D

if you have any residue... rug it with your clean finger ( no water..) will soon convert to small buds that you can pick up.. easily
