    Hello there

Recently my laptop will not boot correctly, It will boot asking the secure card reader and then shut down. I think my hard drive is giving in because it had some bad sectors. I have to switch it off and then on until it hits a lucky boot and boots into the HDD. Settings was set as default in bios, no new hardware was added.

I also would like to know If i buy a new hard drive whats the maximum size I can install. The manual says 100GB 5400rpm without "smart technology"

    It has ATA IDE HDD.

    Thankyou

Unless you know for sure that the hd is trash, you might want to try this app. It's one of the few software products that I've used that actually lives up to it's claims. Of approx 25 drives I've run this on, only one was never recovered.

Somewhat pricey now, but well worth it.
