Hi!
I bought a HP OMEN 17-cb0080nr laptop two weeks ago.
Yesterday I noticed that the laptop began to squeak. Feels like this squeak comes from the right half.
I updated bios and chipset drivers ( https://support.hp.com/in-en/drivers/selfservice/omen-by-hp-17-cb0000-laptop-pc/26122176/model/29771...), but it did not help.
Changing profile in OMEN Command Center also did not help.
I will be grateful for any help.

Thats cause the cpu is heating all u have to do is repaste cpu with a good thermal paste and then undervolt it simple.

I don't hear anything that sounds like a squeak.. are you talking about the high pitched whistling noise? That sounds like the fans and, if anything, the bearings in the right fan may be bad. I would talk to HP tech support about replacing the fans. A repaste to the CPU and undervolt isn't going to fix that.

Thank you both for response.

Yes.

Yes I will plan to do that.
