Hi, does anyone own the HP Omen 15" CE003na?
I'm looking at the model here on hp's own website in the UK:
http://store.hp.com/UKStore/Merch/P...=ABU&mastersku=2GQ08EA&masteropt=ABU&sel=NTB&
I was wondering if there are any owners of this laptop here, who can tell me:
1) Is it a max-q 1060 chip or not? HP's website makes no mention, directly or indirectly, of it being max-q. However, everywhere else online that I read about the 2017 omen lineup says that the 1060 model is a max-q model
2) How is the laptop otherwise? In terms of performance, thermals specifically. And also any other issues? I know, I know; why don't you go look for reviews? I've tried, but all I can find are reviews for the gtx 1050 version. I'd like to know how the 1060 one performs in the same chassis.
3) Can you use an eGPU with the thunderbolt 3 port?

If the RX 580 used in it is full-power, then it shouldn't be a MQ card. Then again, people make weird decisions. If you want to be certain of a performance tier, you can get the RX 580 model since that one certainly isn't MQ.
