    any idea if it is still available. I need the keyboard and optical drive

    i expect no answer to this question due to the age of the laptop, but it's worth trying to pose the question. i intend to make it DVD player

    Handy hint that may help in Google or eBay searches: the P3/Celeron version of the XE3 is also known as Pavilion N5240, and perhaps other N52xx numbers.
