    Hi,

I just purchased this HP Pavalion 6113us during the last Christmas.

The machine itself warms very quickly just as discussed in this forum. I bought a cooler for it and the issue has been solved.

But my new trouble is that the machine often shuts off automatically, it happens almost 7-8 times until now. All are happened in normal condition use (surfing the web).

Have not reported this to HP yet.

Does anyone has such similiar experience? How do you deal with it?
    Any suggestions are appreciated.

    Thanks

That happened with my dv1000 several times before I got a cooler for it.

Either you have a virus, hardware short, or the CPU is overheating.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your kind reply.

After I use the cooler, I think the CPU temperature is OK (two cores:48-52C).

As for virus, it looks good as my AVG checks it everyday.

What is your hardware short means?

    Thanks

There could be a loose connection between one component to another, or a defect in one of the pieces of hardware.
