Ps the touch pad is the one that controlls the volume, mute & WiFi connection.
-
help.....please!
-
Or do you mean the keyboard?
i.e. F9 (Volume decrease), F10 (Volume increase)
F10 (Mute), F11 (WiFi) -
Please elaborate.
JonCarter isn't even exactly clear to what
problem he is experiencing.
His statement of the touchpad that controls the volume, mute, and
WiFi connection is clear to you?
So based on a vague, limited description of a problem, you're blaming
immediately HP.
All right, fine. LOL -
The touch pad (next to the power button) does not work, it does not pick up anything it doest not work i cant get any more into detail.
-
He has an older dv6 with a "touch strip" above the keyboard for controlling those functions.
@OP: "Touch pad" is generally used to refer to the trackpad, or mouse, on a laptop. As for your problem, try going to HP's site to look for a driver update.
-
It was the update that borked it...he could try to revert to an older version....we could help but he needs to post the model number ie dv6t 2xxx / OS / also if its x86 or x64
-
it was fine before the "ugent" update from HP and now it doesnt work.
