hi i would like to know what kind of DDR2 memory is the correct one to upgrade the 6700t's memory because i plan on buying one with 1 gig replacing it with my own ram seeing as how its cheaper this way. Fry's has a 2GB DDR2 PC5300 SO-D CRUCIAL ram stick for $21.00 after rebate, would this one work on the 6700t? thanks

Yeah, i belive its PC2-5300. I know the 9700 and 9500t run on that, so im assuming the 15" one runs PC2-5300 also.

Yes, the dv6700t only supports 667mhz max. The PC2-5300 would work fine. Got 4gb (2x2gb) corsair for 69.99 @ Frys!!!

    Works great!!!

The 667Mhz 240 pin memory PC2-5300, I think it can use PC2-5400 or something like that.
