Hi, I'm looking for detailed instructions on how to repace my keyboard on my HP Pavillion DV 4000. My (c key) and my (. key) have come off. I still have them but have been unable to get them to go back on correctly so I feel I may need to replace the whole keyboard. Does anyone have such instrctions they would care to share?

Also where would I be able to get the best deal on the replacement keyboard?

    Thanks

HP has service manuals online which should help...

For instructions on removing the keyboard. Look through 'Removal & Replacement Procedures' --> Section 5.13.

For keyboards try ebay if you dont mind buying used or from ebay. If you want new ones then buy from one of HP retailers(like techexcess). They might be costlier than ebay but sometimes they are a bit cheaper than buying direct from HP. Ofcourse you can still buy direct from HP through their online Parts store...
