    I'd like it if it had a 15.4" screen (preferably WSXGA+) and nVidia 8600M-GT graphics. But the one you posted does look sweet! (cosmetically, that is)

    Good luck with that. Not even HP's dv6500t series (15.4" screen) have 8600 series videocards in them, much less a GT. But yes, I agree, the Verve finish is sweet looking. I've been waiting for a 15.4" version of it for so long that I've finally gave up on it and went with a 15.4" Special Edition with the Influx imprint finish instead.

    I like the graphics on the notebook but I agree with the system spec's comments above. If you are not big on gaming then I'm sure it would be fine. The new line of laptops with external case graphics is a big improvement over the old standard black/silver imho. Sure its just cosmetics but I know I get comments about mine with the radiance design, its subtle but cool.

    Not longer in production, but I'm looking to buy this refurbished. Need a semi-affordable laptop with decent specs and I think this fits the bill.

    i own one of these - dv2637tx special edition verve design.

    Its been a year since i bought it, and its working very reliably. Highly recommended!
