Hi All,
I have been looking for a small size powerful laptops and now my search ends up with HP DV3-4300 (13.3") and HP DM4-1300 14.0 inch. I dont see much difference between these two laptops, Could you guys please help me to decide which is best value for money.
Thanks.
Here are the links for both the laptops
DV3-4300 = HP Pavilion DV3-4300 13.3 inch Notebook (Intel Core i5 480 Processor, 4GB RAM, 750GB HDD, Windows 7 Home Premium) - Metal: Amazon.co.uk: Computers & Accessories
DM4-1300 = HP Pavilion DM4-1300 14.0 inch Notebook (Intel Core i5 460 Processor, 4GB RAM, 500GB HDD, Windows 7 Home Premium) - Aluminium: Amazon.co.uk: Computers & Accessories

Between these two, I would recommend the DM4-1300. The i5-460 and the i5-480 are pretty much identical in terms of real-life performance, but the DM4-1300 is 10% cheaper, and has a slightly larger screen. I personally can't stand little 13" screens. 14" is the best between portability and readability.

Thanks for the reply.
I am bit worried about the graphics card in DM4.
On website for DM4 its written "Video Intel HD (up to 1.66 GB)". It doesnt look like it has dedicated card. Whereas on DV3 its written Video AMD Radeon HD 6370M (512 MB DDR3). What do you think?
I am not really worried about the screen size. They both pretty much same. -
If a graphics card and portability are both important to you, then I would advise you to get the DV4 Sandy Bridge refresh, which should arrive this month depending which country you're in. You can find more about it here:

Although the DV3-4300 has the dedicated card, the HD 6370M is still pretty weak. Even the integrated Intel graphics on the Sandy Bridge would be on par with it.
