    Hi,

I have finally purchased my dv3507ea with 2 year's free warranty from John Lewis in the UK, but I am concerned about the amount of vent's underneath the laptop.

I only have one vent, but in the maintenance manual there are vent's for the wifi, memory, hard disk plastic cover's but for some reason I only have one vent.

The warmest part is the wifi cover as it get's quite warm. I have never had major heat issues, but I am just concerned with the lack of vent's for this laptop.

One more thing, what is the maximum battery life you get, I get a max of 2.5 to 3.25 hours.

are you sure it get that warm? my 3507ea is all cool <40C. and yeah battery life barely reached 3 hours with undervolting. When using the wifi, i never feel the warmth on my notebook. maybe you should try set the power throughput of your wifi card down abit.. :)
