hi,
I have some issues with my dv6 crashing. I have experienced problems when I have some youtube videos in my browser tabs paused and when I click to resume them the laptop crashes. It recovers ok but if I go back and watch more youtube a blue screen appears. I would have to close the browser or restart to stop the crash.
Does anyone know why this happens ? Is there anything I can do to fix it ? The machine is very new, it has lots of memory. Is there a problem with Radeon ?

Since its still new, have u done updating the drivers and BIOS?

Can you check what is your current graphic driver version?
If it's not 8.830.6.3000 you can download and update it from here. -
I got this from device manager
Radeon HD 6490M
Driver Provider ATI Technologies
Driver version 8.830.6.2000 -
I installed the driver you gave, thanks very much. I will just have to see if it performs better.

I have tried right click on numerous flash video and nothing comes up !
The latest download did not make any difference, I went to IGN.COM today and the screen went blank and a popup appeared saying that the AMD recovered from a serious error. -
Play utube video, right click on the video and choose Setting. Click on the tab on most left, and untick Hardware Acceleration.
