    HP Pavilion DV6000 screen error

    I'm having an odd issue with my screen...

    It will show me the boot screen, but just before Windows starts, the screen will turn off. I'll still be able to hear Windows starting, but I cannot get the screen to turn on.

    Further, I tried booting in Safe Mode just to see if I could get to Windows that way, and I could see everything.

    Does anyone have any idea what is going on or how I can fix it? It would be MUCH appreciated, thanks.
